wisteria gone wild!
These bad girls are rampant in the edge of the woods behind the nursery! They are at least 4 stories tall! Climbing fearlessly through many trees, taking no prisoners! I must admit, it is beautiful!!! This is the invasive Asian wisteria. At the nursery we sell the native, Wisteria frutescens 'Amethyst Falls'.

I love the look of wisteria. The flowers are nicely dramatic. I've heard that it has toxicity, though... Is that true? Cheers!
